One of the best eMule clients

Regardless of their origin, P2P software is, with no doubt, one of the fastest and most useful tool for sharing documents and files. Thanks to those networks, Linux compilations and other open source content can be easily distributed among all the community.

The original eMule client is quite good, but there are always means for improving applications. Mods are just that: improved versions of existing applications. eMule Xtreme is a mod of eMule. Bandwidth control, uploading and downloading configuration and antileech are a few examples of the improvements of this mod (eMule Xtreme). With antileech feature, it will be impossible for leechers to steal credits or to change download and upload rates. Additionally, this mod allows overruling ISPs’ rules against P2P traffic. Not every server is compatible with this feature, but we highly recommend its activation for getting all the advantages of P2P networks.

In addition to all the above features and options, eMule Xtreme 6.1 includes many more tools, such as detailed statistics, a search engine and UPnP compatibility.

A useful hint: configure search on global mode, instead of on server mode. This way, number of results will be significantly increased and obtained faster. On the other hand, if there is any doubt on how and where to get additional lists of servers, there are many sites, such as http://www.gruk.org/list.php, with this kind of information. With only one click, lists will be automatically uploaded in eMule.

Definitely, one of the best mods of eMule. Emule Extreme.
