Many of the millions of users of Messenger want other emoticons than the ones included in the application itself. Emote Maker is not aimed at sophisticated designs, but creating customized emoticons – animated or with text – is really easy with this software. Once created, the emoticon can be saved as a BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG or GIF file, so that it is compatible with Messenger or other Instant Messaging software.

There are more advanced applications for designing your own emoticons, but none of them is as intuitive and easy to use as Emote Maker. It even features a random mode for creating emoticons from preset preferences.
