MAME is a Project more than 10 years old, aimed at making Arcade games playable on the computer. The basics of the project are quite simple: an application is required, so that Arcade games’ ROMs are understood by the computer. This way, games can be played and controlled from the computer with the highest fidelity and with the same speed. ROM by ROM, MAME community of developers has launched more than 6,000 Arcade games for computers.

In order to enjoy Arcade games on the computer, installation of an emulator, apart from the specific ROM for each game, is required. Once the ROM found (available on the internet), integrating the game is as easy as saving the ROM in MAME’s folder. Level and other settings can be configured by pressing the TAB key.
